Klein + Hummel launched the world's first active multi-channel studio monitor, the OY. It was the first studio monitor with an active crossover, a hybrid three-way design with two internal amplifier channels. Very advanced for it’s time, and production continued for the next 20 years, until 1987!
The OY is equipped with two built in 30 watt amplifiers, which permit highest quality monitoring without the need for separate power amplifiers. As a result of its small size, it can be mounted in a most favorable position in control rooms, mix-down areas, editing rooms, etc.
